FutureTunez has had an increase in content recently with some great writers and it has all payed off. FutureTunez has officially been accepted into Google News one of the worlds largest news sites including content from organizations such as The New York Times and USA Today. The content’s quality will continue to increase even though we already try to keep high standards. I would like to thank all of the users which have signed up to the site to join in with the conversation. It will take Google a couple of days to search the site and post the stories, so don’t expect to see our post’s immediately.

FutureTunez aims to run a redesign by the end of the summer but in the next few weeks you may see minor graphical changes to improve your use of the site. We will take feedback on board and will consult the community before making any big changes.

Today FutureTunez is announcing that today we are running “Yoggrt” ad’s. Yoggrt has many well known advertisers like Media Temple, WP Coder and Page Lime. We are happy to be using them to exclusively run all of the ad’s on FutureTunez, our music news site. Thanks to them, happy to work with them.

In the upcoming weeks, we the FutureTunez team are planning a redesign of the site. We have a few templates and styles in mind but we’ll be keeping the same content, images and as part of the renewal theres something for you guys coming along. One clue, it’ll be like Twitter and Facebook pushed together, exclusive for our readers, followers and RSS subscribers!

Firstly Brackin Media LTD is now our legal and official name. We have been incorporated with Andrew Brackin as the Managing Director and the site will see a vast update with legal and formal information very soon.

About two hours ago FutureTunez was finally completely crawled by Google and Google News meaning we are showing much higher in Google and are officially part of Google News which is getting us a pageview every 20-30 seconds. Also thanks to wikipedia which is also getting us quite a few.

Everyone here at BrackinMedia has been working hard to put together a brand new website for all of you! This new site is called SocialTips. Now if you don’t know what the site is based on from the name, here’s a little explanation:

SocialTips is a social media blog giving you all the latest news within’ the social world. It will feature posts about topics such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and so on. Yes, you get the point.

Anyway, I’m writing this post to inform you that SocialTips will be launching THIS FRIDAY 28th May 2010 at 6:00pm BST! We’re really looking forward to share this amazing creation with you and we hope you’ll come and join us on Friday when we launch. Hey, I have decided to start a new business, I want to do something a bit different and I want it to be really affordable but at the same time really cool and easy to use. I have decided to
start a store but not any store. Lot’s of people sell t-shirts, but things like that are really expensive and some are quite boring. Today I am announcing that I will launch a site which will have loads of really awesome looking badges at tremendously cheap prices and will have deals as I am making the site not using a service.

I need your help with the name but there will be all kinds of badges for lots of fun topics and phrases. I’m thinking to do some fun social media ones, tunevibez or music ones and lots of random cool designs. I will make the site really easy to use and stylish at the same time.

I will be making the site myself and will not be using a premade service so will be able to do sales, discounts and giveaways! I hope you think this is a cool idea as I will make it as innovative as possible and make it different to other stores out there.

Okay, For the last couple of Months I have been running a new music blog called FutureTunez it is a bit of a spin off of TuneVibez but again is a blog. It has been very popular and thanks to SEO (search engine optimization) we have had lots of vistors and rss subscribers.

 Right now we have four writers which all work on TuneVibez too, we get some great content up for you but we feel that we need more writing content to get even more site users. We will soon be expanding the site with categories/sections, we will need more writers. So if you are good at writing and have a new fresh music taste you are perfect. You only have to write a couple of sentances on why you like the artist or song and paste the music video as well.

 It must be new/fresh talent and not chart music which everyone knows about. It can be covers or can be unknown YouTube artists too. If you want to write for us either leave a comment or email andrew@tunevibez.com

Excuse the pun in the name but TuneVibez is running a contest to design the images to go on our new collection of hoodies, caps, mouse mats and what ever we decide to sell. You must make it fashionable, large sized so it can print clearly on a hoodie or t-shirt. Don’t make it boring or directly copy the logo!

It must be to do with TuneVibez or music and must say somewhere on it TuneVibez. it can have a clever tag line but doesn’t have to. Make it clean, simple and fashionable. Do them as soon as possible and all good entries will be used!

It can be digitally made or hand drawn/painted but it must be sent digitally (scanned)

Our new Co-producer Jonny Rowntree has already started working on the behind the scenes stuff on TuneVibez. Jonny will also be a DJ. But as we have mixed up our schedule we are bringing on new DJ’s to fill up which used to be grants saturday slot and alex’s pre recorded show. We do have a flood of applications but if you do want to apply we can’t promise anything but use the form on our contact page.
